Pinoncchio, a non-binary teenager, is set to undergo a feminizing rhinoplasty in a day, but their thoughts revolve less around the procedure and more around the quiet, fragile relationship with their own father.

Pinoncchio approaches non-binary identity through the strained relationship between a teenager and their father, shaped by silence and misunderstanding. At its core is Pinoncchio's nose - seen by the protagonist as a lie of gender, while the father reads it as a reflection of himself.
The film focuses on what remains unspoken: growing distance, the inability to find a shared language and the emotional weight of miscommunication. Through a hybrid 3D animation style that blurs the line between artificial and natural, the inner states and imagined realities begin to merge.
Rather than offering answers, the film centers on what happens when communication fails - when silence replaces connection and understanding seems just out of reach.

Pinoncchio is currently submitted to international short film festivals.
