From the recorder to the VR-synthesizer and back to the ukulele...

As long as I can remember there was an instrument in my hand.
Beginning with playing the recorder at the age of two I never stopped making music. Over the years I learned and self-taught several different instruments (clarinet, piano, guitar, bass) and played in various orchestras and underground bands.
During my bachelor's degree in music informatics & music science at the University of Music Karlsruhe I took a deeper dive into music and sound. While I was specializing in sound and music for film & games, procedural audio and composing several pieces of electronic music, I learned the basics of virtual reality applications. In my final project "Organism" I brought together everything I had learned and created a spatial audio musical piece for a 64-speaker VBAP setup with VR-based interaction.
Nowadays you'll find me playing tunes on the ukulele or making music for one of my animations.
